Much of the content of THCI educational materials relates to competencies endorsed by experts and organizations, including the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the Institute of Medicine, the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF).

Online modules - Twelve interactive, up-to-date, and dynamic education and assessment resources, including modules on quality measurement and improvement, clinical care management, and pharmacy management. The modules are accredited for continuing education for physicians, nurses, and pharmacists. An online opinion survey and self-scoring knowledge assessment instrument covering issues in the health care system, quality improvement, and care management are available as well.
